Ukraine qualifies for EURO 2024
Historic victory for the Ukrainian national team
Ukraine booked their place at EURO 2024 with a 2-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-off final. The match was played in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on June 19, 2024.
Ukraine took the lead in the 15th minute through a goal from Roman Yaremchuk. Bosnia and Herzegovina equalized in the 30th minute through a goal from Ermin Bičakčić. Ukraine scored the winning goal in the 65th minute through a goal from Ruslan Malinovskyi.
This is the first time that Ukraine have qualified for the European Championship. They will be making their debut in the tournament when it is held in Germany in 2024.
Ukraine's victory is a major achievement for the country. It is a sign of the progress that the team has made in recent years. Ukraine will be one of the teams to watch at EURO 2024.
